Golden Eaglet Alhassan Ibrahim Impresses Swedish Club Kalmar
Published: November 19, 2013Alhassan Ibrahim Abdullahi failed to make the Golden Eaglets squad, which won the trophy at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The offensive midfielder has been training with Swedish club Kalmar FF for some weeks and he has impressed the leadership of the Premier League outfit.
Fotbolltransfers.com with reference to Kvällsposten quoted the sporting director of Kalmar, Thomas Andersson Borstam as saying : “He is clever and plays with intelligence. He is probably best as a playmaker in a role as number ten.
“From what I have seen, he is both a forward player and a midfielder. Then he so clearly has a lot to learn, but he can probably be a really good football player.”
Nigerian has now gone home, but Kalmar FF are hoping that he returns in the coming months.
“We will try to bring him back in January to see him more. He has been very exciting,” adds Thomas Andersson Borstam.
