Fifa President Sepp Blatter Wishes Nigeria, Mexico Good Luck
Published: November 08, 2013Fifa President Joseph Blatter has posted a message on his official Twitter account , wishing the Golden Eaglets and their Mexican counterparts good luck before both teams lock horns in the final of the Under 17 World Cup.
“Today’s final sees 3-time winners Nigeria play current holders @FEMEXFUTOFICIAL. Good Luck to both teams! ” said the Fifa boss.
Nigeria have won the competition three times in 1985, 1993 and 2007. On the other hand, the young Tricolor have lifted the trophy on two occasions - 2005 and 2011.
The final game will take place in Abu Dhabi (Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium). Kick off is 17:00 hours Nigerian time.
