FC Sion In Contact With Agent Over Ngozi Okobi, Willing To Offer Her 6,000 Euros Annual Wage
Published: November 01, 2013According to leaks gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com, Swiss club FC Sion have made contact with the agent of Nigeria Under 20 international Ngozi Okobi regarding a contract.
19 - year - old Ngozi Okobi is regarded as one of the top prospects in the land and displayed her wares at the last Fifa Under 20 World Cup.
Ngozi Okobi’s excellent performance for the Nigeria youth teams over the years has alerted a host of clubs in Europe, with teams in Germany and Switzerland ready to offer her a deal in the near future.
But it is Sion who lead the sprint for her signature and there has been an approach by one of the directors of the club.
For now, the stumbling block is the player’s transfer fee assumed to be around 3,000 euros.
Sion are not ready to compromise in their decision of not paying a transfer fee even though the capital outfit are willing to offer 500 euros as monthly wage.
