Tijani Babangida : Eagles Should Face The Game In A Professional Way
Published: October 12, 2013With less than 24 hours to the crunch World Cup play - off match against Ethiopia, retired Nigeria international Tijani Babangida has advised the Super Eagles players to give their all if they are to overcome the opponents.
“They should face the game in a professional way. They are all professionals and African champions.
“From the start, we have to show them we mean serious business.
“They should fully concentrate and try to convert all the chances they get. I am sure Ethiopia can not stop us,” says Babangida to allnigeriasoccer.com.
During his playing days, Tijani Babangida dazzled the opposition with mesmerizing runs on the right wing.
While clearly advising the wingers not to be selfish, he wants them to shoot when opportunity comes calling.
“The wingers should locate the main striker on time. And if they get a chance, they should not fail to shoot and score themselves.”
