Published: October 10, 2013Chris Green, Nigeria Football Federation’s technical committee member, who is already in Addis Ababa, says the pitch quality at the stadium is in bad shape.
Simply put, Green, who led the NFF advance party, stated the playing surface will count against the Eagles on Sunday.
“What do we really expect? This is what we have come to find out here and the pitch is just not good enough for us.
“But we don’t really have a choice and we just have to make the best of the situation that we have found ourselves in,” says Chris Green to Brila FM.
The Nigeria squad is expected to depart Abuja for Addis Ababa on Saturday.
