Super Eagles Decline In Fifa Ranking
Published: July 04, 2013Nigeria National Football Team, the Super Eagles have dropped four places in the latest ranking released by football's governing body, Fifa on Thursday, July 4.
With 723 points, the African champions have a global ranking of 35th, while they occupy the 5th place on the continent.
Recall that last month, Nigeria were ranked 31st.
World Cup qualifying group opponents Malawi, Kenya and Namibia are ranked 108th, 123rd and 127th respectively .
European and World champions Spain continue to top the ranking followed by Germany, Colombia and Argentina.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 8 August 2013.
