Odemwingie To Leave West Brom At Right Price
Published: June 26, 2013Nigeria striker Peter Odemwingie will only leave the Baggies this summer if any suitor meets his asking price, West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace has told British media.
The relationship between Odemwingie and the leadership of West Brom is far from cordial after the club failed to sanction his departure to Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window.
''We have a player who is under contract until the end of the season.
''Unless something comes in to change our way of thinking he will be back in pre-season and we will deal with that.
''If we don’t do that they will all be knocking on the door. That said, unless we get an offer we’re happy with we won’t sell him,'' Peace told Birmingham Mail.
Swansea, Hull City and Crystal Palace are believed to be interested in Peter Odemwingie, but none of the clubs have backed up their interest with official bids.
