Fifa Under 20 World Cup: Portugal Beat Nigeria 3 - 2
Published: June 21, 2013The Flying Eagles started on a bad note at the ongoing Fifa Under 20 World Cup, losing 3 - 2 to Portugal in Group B.
After a balanced opening, Portugal took the lead at the half hour mark through Bruma and doubled the advantage four minutes later.
Goalscorer Bruma turned provider for Italy based striker Aladje. The Aprilla man simply had to tap in the rebound after goalkeeper Okani palmed Bruma's shot.

But Portugal, European Under 19 bronze champions, replied almost immediately. Bruma scored the match winner on 69 minutes after receiving a pass from Ricardo Esgaio.
After the first round of matches, Portugal are level on points with South Korea, who defeated Cuba 2 - 1 in the other game played in Group B.
