Brondby's Oke Akpoveta Devastated Following The Death of Solomon Oboh
Published: June 10, 2013Brondby's Oke Akpoveta has been left devastated following the sudden death of ex Warri Wolves teammate Solomon Oboh, who sadly lost his life in a car accident on Sunday.
The grieving Oke Akpoveta told allnigeriasoccer.com: ''Solomon Oboh is (was, ed) like a brother to me. We were roommates when I played for Warri Wolves.
''Solomon was at my place last Wednesday before I left for Denmark on Friday. He asked for my football boots.
''Before I left for Denmark on Friday morning, I gave my brother the boots to deliver to him. And he late sent me a message to thank me.''
Adding to his previous statement, Oke Akpoveta said:
''My senior brother just left Solomon's family house. I'll see what I can do to help the family. I am very sad.''
Solomon Oboh, who died at the age of 23, played for Bisalo FC, Delta United in addition to his stint with Warri Wolves.
