Abike Dabiri-Erewa Advises Super Eagles Not To Rest On Their Laurels
Published: June 06, 2013Female honorable member of the House of Representatives, Abike Dabiri-Erewa , a staunch follower of football in the country, has advised the Super Eagles of Nigeria not to rest on their laurels following their triumph at the African Cup of Nations.
In addition, she heaped praise on Stephen Keshi for the job done since he took over as helmsman of the National Team.
Speaking to Sports Day, Abike Dabiri-Erewa said: ''We must not relax after what we achieved at the Nations Cup.
''We must not get carried away by our achievements and leave ourselves open to surprises from smaller teams.
''Whatever the case, though, I still have faith in Keshi.''
Though Abike Dabiri-Erewa loves the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), she also supports Londoners Arsenal FC.
