Sunday Mba: I Can Do More With The National Team
Published: June 04, 20132013 African Cup of Nations match winner Sunday Mba has told the official website of Fifa that he hopes to shine at the Confederations Cup billed to be staged in Brazil from June 15 - 30.
The Rangers International midfielder has been on the wishlist of clubs in Ukraine, Turkey and Romania since his exploits in South Africa.
However, Mba's focus is to do well with the Super Eagles of Nigeria who start their summer program with a tricky clash against Kenya on Wednesday, June 5.
''It’s great to see the interest that I have generated since the Nations Cup. But I believe I can do more especially with the national team.
''We have the World Cup qualifiers now and then soon after the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.
These are very important engagements and we want to do very well - particularly as we are now the African champions,'' says Mba to fifa.com.
Sunday Mba netted two goals in four games at February's African Cup of Nations.
