Anthony Ujah Surprised By Holger Stanislawski's Resignation
Super Eagles invitee Anthony Ujah has commented on the resignation of Cologne's manager Holger Stanislawski.

Just yesterday, the 43 - year - old gaffer announced that he will be leaving the Billy Goats on June 30, 2013.

In his farewell match, Cologne defeated Ingolstadt 3 - 0, with Anthony Ujah netting his 13th goal in the 2 Bundesliga.

''It was an emotional game for us. We arrived at the hotel on Saturday night and after dinner we were called to an emergency meeting where the coach announced his resignation to the team.

''It was very hard for us all to take as no one saw it coming. He was not just a coach but a good friend to most and like a father to us the young players,'' Anthony Ujah said to allnigeriasoccer.com.

He added: ''
We struggled in the first half but came out stronger in the second half. I'm happy for my 13th goal of the season and give God the thanks for a successful loan spell with FC Cologne.''

Anthony Ujah is expected to return to Mainz and await further directives from the club.

He is being linked with a summer transfer to Croatia champions Dinamo Zagreb.
