West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie has confirmed to British media that he will depart the club at the end of the season.
The 31 - year - old has been in the bad books of the Baggies leadership following his botched transfer to Queens Park Rangers.
''I spoke to manager Steve Clarke recently and he agreed it is going to be really, really difficult.
''We on the inside know the main issues surrounding the conflict.
''We know the mess that we have caused, so we are the same people who can clear it up. He agreed with me.
''But I’m 90 per cent sure that it’s best for me to leave.
''If that happens then we can realise there is a lot to thank each other for and move on,'' Odemwingie told the electronic edition of Birmingham Mail.
Peter Odemwingie has netted 5 goals in 24 English Premier League appearances. His Baggies contract will run out at the end of next season.
