Patrick Owomoyela Accepts He Has No Future With Borussia Dortmund
Published: April 30, 2013Former Germany international Patrick Owomoyela has accepted that he has no future with Borussia Dortmund and will leave the club in the summer transfer market.
''At the moment, it looks like the club is no longer planning with me.
"But it is fair enough that they don't go out of their way for a player who has been out injured for a year and is now 33,'' he told Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung .
The 33 - year - old central defender, who has been with Borussia Dortmund since 2008, does not plan to retire as he hopes to continue his career with a new team next season.
Though Owomoyela has 76 Bundesliga games under his belt, he has not featured this season for Champions League semi - finalist.
