Ahmed Musa Hails CSKA Moscow's Second Half Display
Published: April 18, 2013
Nigeria international Ahmed Musa netted his 11th goal of the season in the Cup game with Yenisei on Wednesday evening.
In his post match comments to Russian media, the striker said CSKA Moscow had a brilliant second half, hence the 3 - 0 scoreline.
He told championat.com: ''We started well, with a quick goal. Then relaxed a bit, and at half-time coach asked us to be collected, play harder. Second half we scored two more goals, completing the task. I think after my goal, it became clear that CSKA will not miss.''
With Zenit St Petersburg breathing down CSKA's neck in the race for the Premier League crown, more than bragging rights are on stake when the Army Men clash with Spartak Moscow at Arena Khimki on Sunday.
''Ahead of us supermatch with Spartak, but so far have not thought about it - getting ready for Yenisei. And now all my thoughts are about the derby,'' says Musa.
