Tiago Ilori Voted Best Young Player In Portugal
Published: April 12, 2013Sporting Lisbon youngster Tiago Ilori has been named best young player of the month of March by the Union of Professional Footballers (SJPF).
The 20 - year - old Portugal youth - teamer started the season in the B Team but was quickly drafted into the main squad following a string of sterling displays.
According to Union of Professional Footballers official website, www.sjpf.pt, Ilori got 25.1 percent of the votes cast.
Amido Balde (Guimaraes), Tiago Rodrigues (Guimaraes) and Hannibal Chapel (Moreirense) were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
The finalists for the award were picked by Portugal's most respected journalists from A Bola, Record and O jogo.
