The Nigeria international, who netted a brace in the third round of matches, will not recover on time for the next game in the championship against Chuks Akabueze's Wuhan Zall.
Due to Utaka's injury - enforced absence, manager Li Ming is likely to play a one - man attack in the encounter with Wuhan Zall which takes place on Friday.
