Oke Akpoveta is still searching for his first goal for Brondby after 18 matches played in the Danish Super Liga.
On Friday, the 21 - year - old striker spent more than 30 minutes on the pitch against Esbjerg, but was unfortunate not to open his goals account.
Brondby lost 0 - 1 to Esbjerg and desperately need points in the remaining games in the championship to save their top flight status.
''We did not get take advantage of our chances. We had opportunities, but we could not execute. That's football unfortunately. I did okay, but there was no goal, and it was not satisfactory.
''We have a good team, and I have no doubt that we'll make it. This requires that we fight for it, and it requires that we are brave. But I am sure that we stay up,'' Oke Akpoveta was quoted as saying by bold.dk.
