Exclusive: Ex Pittsburgh Panthers Striker, Terry Akpua To Train With ENPPI
Published: March 27, 2013Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that little known Nigerian striker Terry Chike Akpua has been invited to train with Egyptian Premier League club ENPPI.
The 22 - year - old was born in Nigeria but has spent most of his life in the United States.
He last played for Pittsburgh Panthers, the University of Pittsburgh Soccer Team.
Akpua , who has an American passport, will travel to North Africa on March 31st. If the player proves his fitness to manager Tarek El Ashry, he would be offered a contract at the end of April.
ENPPI will not pay for accommodation, visa, tickets and traveling expenses of Akpua while he is undergoing trials.
Terry Akpua , now a free agent, made 19 starts for the Panthers and recorded 2 goals.
