Ailing Jossy Lad Needs Assistance
Published: March 18, 2013Families and friends of former Super Falcons and Shooting Stars Coach, Joseph Ladipo popularly known as Jossy Lad have cried out to government and well meaning Nigerians to save their beloved from the clutches of death.
Speaking with newsmen at Narl Clinic where Ladipo is receiving treatment in Ibadan, his first son, Wale Ladipo said his dad was diagnosed more than a month ago with heart related ailment and since then he had been visiting hospital but the situation worsened last week.
Wale added that the family is now intending to move the former Leventis United sweat merchant to a better hospital where he’s likely to require a surgery and sum of 2 million naira would be needed.
Also appealing was the scribe of Ibadan Football Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Adeniran Adeyemo amidst sob recalled the spate many Ibadan based football heroes have been kicking bucket these days.
Saying “we should not allow Jossy Lad to go the way of Rashidi Yekini, Joe Appiah and Samuel Ojebode who all passed away within a spate of a year”.
Adeyemo, a close friend to the immediate Chairman of 3SC board stated further that “Jossy don’t miss any local derby matches at Olubadan Stadium here but he has been battling with his health since late last year but the situation is gradually taking to worst in the past one month and that is why we are crying to people in high places to save him by contributing towards his health”.
