Ideye Targets More Trophies With Super Eagles, Dynamo Kiev

Dynamo Kiev striker Brown Ideye has commented on the Super Eagles recent victory at the African Cup of Nations to the official website.
Ideye, who partnered tournament's top scorer Emmanuel Emenike in attack, is delighted to win his first major trophy at club or international level.
Speaking to the official website of the Ukrainian vice - champions, fcdynamo.kiev.ua, Ideye said: ''We started celebrating the success in the dressing room, then in the plane and another on our return to Nigeria.
''About three days - that's for sure (laughs). February 12 at full strength went to Abuja, where we had a scheduled appointment with the President.
''At the airport in the capital, we met a lot of people. All rejoiced, shouting congratulations, because our team have won this trophy. From the airport, we were driven by bus with the cup to the presidential residence.''
He continued: ''I have never won a major trophy in my life, and the first became the African Cup of Nations. I am sure that it - not the ceiling, and I'll be able to win many victories with Dynamo Kiev and with the national team of Nigeria. ''
When the Super Eagles returned to the dressing room after their 1 - 0 win over Burkina Faso in the Afcon finals, Ideye revealed that the first person to congratulate him on the feat was his spouse.
''It was my wife. We were in the locker room, all the screaming and having fun, but it (the call, ed) still got through.''
Brown Ideye has notched 13 goals in 17 matches for Dynamo Kiev in the Ukrainian top division. His tally is 5 less than Shakhtar Donetsk's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the top scorer in the league.
Dynamo Kiev will host Kryvbas in the 19th round of matches on Sunday at the Olympic Stadium.
