Sunday Mba Belongs To Wolves - NPL
Published: February 25, 2013The Nigeria Premier League has quickly resolved the ongoing ownership tussle between Enugu Rangers and millionaires Warri Wolves over the rights to Sunday Mba and Chigozie Agbim.
In a statement signed by executive secretary, Tunji Babalola, the NPL ruled that the two Nigeria internationalists are bonafide players of Warri Wolves.
''From our records, it is established that Chigozie Agbim and Sunday Mba are bonafide players of Warri Wolves FC.
''Consequently, the ownership of the players is not subject to any controversy and any club who require their services should contact the management of Warri Wolves,'' the statement disclosed.
Following Sunday Mba's showing at the African Cup of Nations, it is assumed that it is only a matter of time before departing the shores of the country to Europe.
But the only concrete interest for the services of the 24 - year - old midfielder has come from Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
16 - time Swedish champions Malmö FF are mulling over offering a contract to the Super Eagle. But they should act fast as they have an Ukrainian rival.
Allnigeriasoccer.com values Sunday Mba at a transfer fee of 600,000 euros.
