Official: Seyi Olajengbesi Pens One - And -A - Half Year Contract With SV Sandhausen
Published: February 06, 2013After five years defending the colors of Alemannia Aachen, experienced Nigerian center back Seyi Olajengbesi signed a one - and - a - half - year contract with Germany third - tier side SV Sandhausen hours before the close of the winter transfer market.
Manager Hans-Jürgen Boysen is delighted with the acquisition of Seyi Olajengbesi, stating that his arrival will provide stability to the back-line.
''He is, despite his age very fast and has an excellent heading ability,'' Hans-Jürgen Boysen was quoted as saying by the online edition of Kicker.
Olajengbesi terminated his contract with Alemannia Aachen due to the financial situation of the club. They are reportedly insolvent and could be playing in Germany's fourth tier next season.
Last Friday, he made his debut for SV Sandhausen against Union Berlin wearing the number 27 jersey.
