Exclusive: Nigerian Starlet Dubbed 'New Ifeanyi Udeze' Begins Metz Trials
Published: January 10, 2013As first published by allnigeriasoccer.com in December, FC Solothrun, Switzerland fullback Bright Noni Adizue - dubbed the next Ifeanyi Udeze - arrived France on Wednesday afternoon to begin two weeks of tests with Metz, these days playing in the third - tier of French football.
The highly rated Adizue, a product of Siaone Academy, is hopeful of landing a deal with the Albert Cartier led team.
Speaking in a telephone conversation with allnigeriasoccer.com, he said:''FC Solothrun finally agreed I should come to test with Metz after long negotiations. I was supposed to begin training with the reserve team today but the physiotherapist told me to relax my muscles after my trip from Switzerland. So, I will join them in training tomorrow. I am confident of signing for them.''
Under contract with FC Solothrun until the summer of 2013, Adizue is also being followed by Nantes, P.A.O.K Thessaloniki and FC Basel.
The exciting teenager can play multiple roles in any team that finally lands his signature including center back, wing back and defensive midfielder.
