Taye Taiwo Speaks On Future With Dynamo Kiev
Published: January 01, 2013Defender Taye Taiwo spent half a season at Dynamo Kiev on loan. Having the experience of playing in the championships of France, Britain and Italy, the player thinks the move to Ukraine is a new stage in his career.
Football.ua with reference to the official website of Dynamo Kiev quoted Taiwo as saying: ''It is a great pleasure staying in Kiev and playing for Dynamo. The team has a few of my countrymen, and it helps me to feel comfortable in the Ukraine.
''Before the break, Dynamo had a very tight schedule of games, playing in the championship and the Champions League. But I'm used to such as during my time in France, Marseille, for which I've played, also appeared in three - four tournaments simultaneously.''
The former Lobi Stars ace is on a season - long loan from Italian powerhouse AC Milan. Talk about extending his contract at the Ukrainian vice - champions will have to wait until the end of the season in June.
''After the completion of the deal, I have to go back to Milan, and then we will see. Now I am a Dynamo player and want a decent performance in the spring with the team in the Europa League and the championship of Ukraine,'' Taiwo said.
Taiwo is linked with a move to Istanbul giants Besiktas and Galatasaray in the winter transfer market which became active today.
