Omeruo, Ideye Land In Portugal
Published: December 29, 2012Ahead of Nigeria's friendly with Catalonia on Wednesday, two foreign based professionals have arrived the Eagles camp in Faro, Portugal.
ADO Den Haag defender Kenneth Omeruo joined the squad on Saturday afternoon just before the team had their lunch. Also in Southern Portugal is Dynamo Kiev attacker Brown Ideye. Both players participated in the afternoon workout under the guidance of coach Stephen Keshi.
If there are no changes to their traveling plans, strikers Bright Dike of Major League side Portland Timbers and Rizespor's Kalu Uche will link up with the team on Saturday evening.
The Eagles will leave their training camp for South Africa, venue of the African Cup of Nations, on Wednesday, January 16.
