Spartak Moscow Coach Threatens EMMANUEL EMENIKE
Published: December 20, 2012Head coach of Spartak Moscow Valery Karpin before the team left for vacation advised Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike to work harder at training and to monitor his physical form while on vacation, Russian website lifesports.ru is reporting.
''Emenike's game and his desire to play in full force often depends on his mood. Given the fact that in recent times there was unfavorable atmosphere in the team, and the Nigerian got quite a bit of playing time, he began to have problems with motivation.
''The performance and efforts of the forward left much to be desired. However, according to the coaching staff of red and white, any player, no matter what, should remain professional and should not pay attention to extraneous factors, continue to work with full dedication,'' a source told lifesports.ru.
During the holidays, the coaching staff told Emenike to be more serious, responsible and control his fitness. Former coach of Spartak Unai Emery had cautioned the Super Eagle to reduce his weight. However, Emenike left Moscow without recovering his original shape.
