Brazilian Coach Arrives Nigeria Ahead Of Frenage Soccer Camp
Published: December 16, 2012The Brazilian coach Periera De Souza Junior Moises hired by the Ibadan based FRENAGE Soccer Academy would arrive Nigeria this weekend to commence the 2nd phase of residential soccer course programme of new intakes of the soccer school.
The former head coach of top Brazilian side, Sumare Atletico Clube, was eager and excited to land and experience Nigeria while speaking on phone with the media ahead of his arrival, saying he had read and followed Nigeria football for quite some time which he claimed has similarities with Brazil.
Frenage boss Oluwole Ololade said the rationale behind hiring a Brazilian was borne out of their wish to give nothing but the best to aspiring talented young lads in Nigeria and West African region.
''This development is phenomenal in the history of Nigeria and African football, the Coach who handled our first phase of programmes came from Europe and this time we are engaging a Brazilian who is UEFA licensed and has a wide knowledge in youth football development.
''He managed Arapongas Esporte Club, a first division club in Brazil, between 2011- 2012 and was head coach at Caetano FC and Gremio Barueri FC between 2008-2010. We took all these steps to give the best to our players and churn out the best products into the football market.
''We have just concluded arrangement to officially open our Europe branch and move the first set of players there. All as I have said is to give talented African players a window to showcase their talent to the wide-world,''Ololade noted.
