Agent Rubbishes Reports Linking ADELEYE To Anzhi, Werder Bremen
Published: November 19, 2012
Highly revered Ukrainian agent, Dmitri Selyuk, who manages Dele Adeleye, has rubbished reports that originated from a Nigerian sports daily that Anzhi Makhachkala and Werder Bremen were interested in his client.
Selyuk was quoted as saying by FootballTransfer.com.ua : ''As for possible future employment of Adeleye, I want to refute the information about interest shown him by Anzhi, Shakhtar and Werder Bremen. This is definitely a very good player, but on the interest of these clubs I do not know. I can confirm that Adeleye cancelled his contract with Tavriya.''
Selyuk also disclosed that Adeleye left Ukraine, specifically Tavriya , under a cloud because his visa was due to expire. On November 14, Tavriya received a fax from the Nigeria international, stating that he had unilaterally terminated his contract.
''Adeleye did not run away, but canceled a contract with Tavriya. In fact there are objective reasons. Adeleye had to leave the country because of his Ukrainian visa, otherwise could happen that the player is in Ukraine illegally. Adeleye has been in Ukraine for two years and visa extension procedure is simple enough, but Tavriya was unable to do so. I am not talking about the other details which will be decided in court,'' he said.
