SYLVESTER IGBOUN Still Dreams Of January Exit
Published: October 31, 2012
FC Midtjylland's Sylvester Igboun is out for three months, but the attacker still believes in a move to a bigger club. The strong forward has been the subject of speculations linking him away from the MCH Arena.
The Wolves have struggled in the absence of their Nigerian talisman, and only three points separate them from the teams in relegation positions. Despite his spell on the sidelines, Sly still has ambitions of leaving FCM for a foreign adventure.
Tipsbladet.dk citing Danish media quoted Igboun as saying: ''I will really love to play the remaining games before the season is over because we are in a bad position at the moment. Things are not going well for the team, I know they need me. Of course I always want to contribute and help the team. I am disappointed and I know they are disappointed too, but I believe and I hope without me they can do much and try to put themselves together and move on.''
He added: ''If a club really want me they should not think about my injury. I am injured, it's not like I am injured for years, it is just for a couple of months. I still have a chance that anything can still happen in January, otherwise I stay in Midtjylland and keep enjoying myself like I always do.''
