FC Midtjylland's offensive player Sylvester Igboun left the picth against OB with a groin injury, and the prognosis is now clear: waiting three months on the sidelines.
''He has a problem in the groin. Immediately it is not something to be operated, but it takes a long time, and he's out for at least three months. We hope he's ready for spring start-up. That is what we are aiming for,'' says FC Midtjylland's team doctor Jan Hede to the club's website.
He added: ''He should be treated by physiotherapy. Right now, groin allowed to settle down, but he may soon begin rehabilitation.''
Igboun is the top scorer for FCM in the Danish Super Liga with 4 goals in 13 matches.
