Eagles Late Arrival Worries NFF
Published: October 09, 2012The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is not pleased with the late arrival of Super Eagles players invited for the African Cup qualifiers against Liberia in Calabar this weekend, supersport.com is reporting.
As at Tuesday evening, twelve foreign based professionals have arrived for the crucial match. Mikel Obi, who according to reports in the local media is processing a visa to Ukraine, and skipper Joseph Yobo are yet to hit the Eagles Metropolitan Hotel camp.
''We know they are professionals and would easily adjust and adapt but we still believe the earlier they come in the more time they'll have to train together and blend for the game.
"The game is important, we need good performance and positive result which adequate preparations will avail us.
