Agent: JOEL OBI Will Return In A Few Days
Published: September 24, 2012Nigeria boss Stephen Keshi previously informed allnigeriasoccer.com that Inter Milan's midfielder Joel Obi is being considered for October's crucial African Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Liberia.
Obi has not played an official game for the past four months due to a hamstring injury he suffered at the end of last season.
His agent Renzo Contratto has clarified to fcinternews.it that his client will return to the field in the next couple of days.
''He's almost ready, we'll see him in a few days, '' Contratto, who praised Inter Milan for the way they treated Obi during his spell on the sidelines, told FCInterNews.it.
''Inter has handled his case admirably. Muscle injuries are difficult, and the Nerazzurri have done everything in the best way, without thinking of the date of return to the field, but put the player in a position to heal without hurry. "
