EFE AMBROSE Finally Issued Work Permit
Published: September 18, 2012
Glasgow Celtic new boy Efe Ambrose on Monday was granted a work permit by the British authorities.
Wednesday's Champions League game with Portuguese giants Benfica might be too early for the defender, though it must be said he is in good physical condition after training with the Super Eagles and past Israeli club MS Ashdod.
''My work permit is okay now. By His grace, I hope to make my debut in the Scottish Premier League this weekend. For the Champions League match with Benfica, I can't say for now if I would be playing that game. It is up to the coach to decide if I am fielded or not,'' Ambrose told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Ambrose signed a three - year contract with Celtic hours before the close of the summer transfer market for a transfer fee of 1.2 million pounds.
