IFEANYI EMEGHARA On His Way To Grasshoppers?
Published: August 31, 2012
Zurich based Swiss club Grasshoppers have secured the services of Nigerian born Ifeanyi Emeghara according to Italy's number one transfer market website Tuttomercatoweb.
If the move becomes official, it would be the 23-year-old's second spell with Grasshoppers. Recall that on the last day of the 2011 summer transfer market, Emeghara, a Swiss international arrived Lorient from GCZ for a fee believed to be worth around 2.2 million pounds.
Unconfirmed reports in the Swiss media have revealed that Emeghara is already in Switzerland to sign a contract with Uli Forte's side. Italian club Sampdoria had also been strongly linked with a move for the forward this summer.
Meanwhile, USA international with Nigeria heritage Maurice Edu has been cleared to join Stoke City, and has been issued a work permit by the authorities.
