Official: JOSEPH AKPALA Joins Werder Bremen

Nigeria international Joseph Akpala has become a player of Werder Bremen, the official website of Club Brugge has announced.
The 25 - year - old travels to Germany on Wednesday to undergo a medical and put pen to paper on a three - year contract.
Club Brugge will be paid a transfer fee of 2.5 million euros by Werder Bremen for the services of Akpala.
Akpala, who is now in possession of a Belgian Passport after spending 6 years in Belgium, logically misses Brugge's game this weekend against Mons.
German Media had earlier reported that the Super Eagle will earn 1.2 million euros as wages.
