Exclusive: OBINNA OBIEFULE Fails To Reach Agreement With ES Setif
Published: August 15, 2012Former Denmark based player Obinna Obiefule has signed a contract with Algerian giants Entete Setif, so we thought.
The Mosta forward has failed to reach an agreement with ES Setif, and his search for a new club continues, Daddy Okeke who represents the player has told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''The contract talks with ES Setif stalled because there was a misunderstanding on the pre - contract and the transfer fee to be paid to Mosta.
''Obiefule is now in Russia with my partner Dennis Latcher, who also manages Andre Arshavin of Arsenal, holding talks with FC Amkar Perm for a possible transfer though nothing is concluded yet,'' Daddy Okeke who represents the interests of many Nigerian players in Malta told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Obiefule has an ambition of playing for Nigeria's National Team. To realize that objective, he wants to take his trade to a more competitive league.
The record goalscorer in the history of the Malta Premier League had earlier been linked with teams in Turkey, Israel, China, Norway and Kazakhstan. Rightly you could call the clubs pretenders!
