UGOCHUKWU UKAH Set To Join Polonia Warsaw
Published: August 05, 2012
According to Poland's most influential sports daily Przeglad Sportowy, Nigeria international Ugochukwu Ukah will sign a contract with Polonia Warsaw on Monday.
Ukah has been searching for a new club since May when he mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Widzew Lodz over unpaid wages.
'' There's an appointment for Ukah to sign the contract on Monday,'' said the player's agent Filip Wisniewski to the newspaper
The central defender had been courted by Pogon Szczecin but the club could not meet his demand of between 10 - 15,000 euros annual wages.
Hertha Berlin and Hapoel Be'er Sheva are also interested in the former Queens Park Rangers ace in the summer transfer market.
