Ahead of the Super Eagles 2013 African Nations Cup cracker against Liberia, Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, has submitted his programme to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for ratification. In a chat with SoccerStar, the ex-Togo gaffer stated that his target was to ensure the Eagles resumed training early for the qualifier.
He maintained that he would assemble the best crop of players to fight for shirt.
“I have submitted my programme to the NFF for ratification ahead of the Nations Cup tie against Liberia. The game against Liberia is very crucial to me. So, I will ensure I get my players in camp early enough to start preparing,” he said.
“The Eagles will be playing a friendly before the game against Liberia. This will help me blend the Eagles properly. I won’t use sentiment to invite players to the team.”
The former Togo handler, however, enjoined football followers in the country to have confidence in the technical crew, assuring that they were condemned to pick the Nations Cup ticket.
