OKE AKPOVETA Very Happy With Supporters Reception
Published: July 16, 2012 Brøndby IF forward Oke Akpoveta made an emotional comeback from injury in Sunday's 0-1 loss to OB Odense.
The ex Warri Wolves player is delighted Brondby coach, Aurelijus Skarbalius, gave him match time and was pleased with the love shown by the supporters of the club.
Akpoveta told the official website, brondby.com: ''I was very happy when I came on the pitch yesterday. I love when the fans were cheering for me and screaming my name, so I am even more motivated.
''It pleased me so much that I can come back after a long injury period and get such a reception. After ten hard months, it was a very big thing for me to be able to run on the track again. I will give everything for the club and fans.''
Bronby are away to AaB in the second round of matches in the championship on July 22 at the Nordjyske Arena.
