RAHEEM LAWAL Leaves Spain Without Permission

CD Atlético Baleares are unhappy Raheem Lawal left Spain on Friday for Nigeria without permission. The midfielder is one of the invited players for Sunday's World Cup qualifier against the Brave Warriors in Calabar.
Lawal only arrived Spain on Wednesday from Lima,where the Eagles had played Peru in an international friendly. He had problems with his documentation, so was not allowed to leave the South American country.
Atlético Baleares have a vital promotion play-off game with Lugo on Saturday, and were planning to field the midfield maestro despite arriving Spain 48 hours ago.
''The CD Atlético Baleares reports that the Nigerian player Raheen Lawal, has traveled today, without the consent of the Club, to join the National Team,'' the Spanish side said in a press release.
