Published: June 01, 2012
Nigerian forward Abiola Dauda has confirmed to allnigeriasoccer.com that he has started talks with the management of Swedish club Kalmar FF on a new contract.
When quizzed on his contract situation, Dauda said: ''We had a meeting last week in order to discuss my contract and we decided to sit and talk when we come back from break next Friday.
''It would be nice if I remain with Kalmar FF. The club is playing in the Europa League this season... I want to play in that competition.''
Swedish and Danish clubs are monitoring Dauda's situation, and will swoop for the striker if Kalmar does not extend his stay at the Guldfågeln Arena.
