Ejide: No Hiding Place For Namibia On Sunday
Published: May 31, 2012Austin Ejide has declared that the Brave Warriors of Namibia will be soundly beaten in Sunday’s Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
“We are prepared for the great day which is Sunday when we will kick start our race for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
“Every one of us is looking forward to it because we want to be at the World Cup.
“The coaches have been doing a lot of work on the team and we the players have spoken to ourselves on the importance of the game, not only for the country but also to our careers.
“Yes, it isn’t going to be easy at all but we believe we will come out victorious,” Ejide said.
The Hapoel Petah Kivah of Israel goaltender added that the atmosphere in camp is wonderful adding that the team is feeling at home in Calabar.
“There is no injury concern in the team. Everyone is in very high spirit, looking forward to the game with nothing but victory in mind.
“We are embarking on a new journey and it is forward ever, backward never,” the former Etoile Sahel of Tunisia and Bastia of France shot-stopper concluded.
