KESHI Unveils Starting Eleven, NNAMDI ODUAMADI Starts
Published: May 23, 2012Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Nigeria boss Stephen Keshi has named a strong looking starting eleven for Wednesday's friendly against the Peruvian National Team.
Heartland goalie Daniel Akpeyi is preferred ahead of Chigozie Agbim in goal. Keshi has opted for the familiar names in defense - Papa Idris, Godfrey Obobona, Juwon Oshaniwa and Azubuike Egwueke.
As expected the former Anderlecht libero plans to capitalize on the slowness of the Peruvian team. Nnamdi Oduamadi, the flying winger has been given the mandate to pepper the opposition defense. He will be supported in midfield by three home based players - Reuben Gabriel, Izu Azuka and Mba Sunday.
Ehiosun Ekigho of Samsunpor of Turkey and Enyimba's Kalu Uche lead the attack of the Super Eagles.
The Referee for the game which takes place at the National Stadium, Lima is José Luis Espinel from Ecuador.
