ONYEKACHI APAM Very Doubtful To Face Dijon
Published: May 20, 2012French club Stade Rennes could be without the services of Nigeria international Onyekachi Apam for the 38th round of matches in Ligue 1 on Sunday against Dijon at the Stade de la Route de Lorient (Rennes).
Apam picked up a thigh injury in last weekend's 0-3 loss to PSG. As confirmed by Rennes gaffer Frederic Antonetti, there is little chance of the former Enugu Rangers defender playing the final game of the season.
''Roman is still hampered by his injury sustained in Bordeaux. He is not 100%. We thought it was settled after Paris, but the pain resurfaced.
''Finally, there is very little chance Apam plays the last game of the season,'' says Frederic Antonetti to the official website of Rennes.
Rennes, seventh on the table, could qualify for next season's Euopa League if they win against Dijon, and other results are favorable to the Brittany side.
