IKECHUKWU UCHE Returns To Relegated Villarreal
Published: May 15, 2012Villarreal have announced that Ikechukwu Uche will be returning to the club, relegated at the end of this past season to Spain's Segunda division.
Ikechukwu Uche was one of the surprises of last summer market. On deadline day, the Nigeria international arrived Villarreal from Real Zaragoza. Without kicking a ball, the Yellow Submarines sent him on loan to Granada.
The former Getafe striker, who netted 3 goals in 34 games for Granada, said he is convinced he must return to Villarreal.
It is unlikely Uche would remain with Villarreal for that long before he is poached by another club in Spain's top flight. He is one of the Nigerian players expected to have a new employer before the start of the 2012 - 2013 season.
