Ademola Ola-Adebomi: 2023 Flying Eagles invitee nominated for PL2 Player of the Month
Published: March 06, 2025
2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ademola Ola-Adebomi has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for February 2025.
The talented center forward returned to Crystal Palace in the winter transfer market after his loan spell at Belgian Challenger League side SK Beveren was cut short due to inadequate playing opportunities.
Ola-Adebomi has been a cut above the rest since his return from his half-season loan, registering six goals and one assist in eight matches for Palace's development squad.
In a flawless month that saw the Eagles secure nine points from three matches, the 21-year-old scored five goals in three starts.
He scored twice in matches against Stoke City and Aston Villa, before breaking the deadlock in the team's 2-0 victory at West Bromwich Albion.
Other nominees for the award include Logan Briggs (Leicester City), Lemar Gordon (Fulham), Divin Mubama (Manchester City), Lewis Orford and Josh Briggs (West Ham), Jay Robinson (Southampton) and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey (Manchester City).
The nominees have been selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel, who will also decide the winner, with the result set to be announced at 10am on Friday 14 March.
Ola-Adebomi was named Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November 2023.
