What Sevilla forward Ejuke said after becoming the 24th Nigerian player to score in La Liga

By scoring in the game, he became the 24th Nigerian player to score in La Liga joining Christopher Ohenhen, Finidi George, Ikechukwu Uche, Kalu Uche, Mutiu Adepoju, Samuel Chukwueze, Odion Ighalo, Obafemi Martins, Isaac Success, Umar Sadiq, Victor Obinna, Ramon Azeez, Rashidi Yekini, Bartholomew Ogbeche, Nosa Igiebor, Elderson Echiejile, Chrisantus Uche, Brown Ideye, Moses Simoon, Nduka Ugbade, Emmanuel Amunike, Oghenekaro Etebo and Kenneth Omeruo.
The 26-year-old had come off the bench to replace club legend Jesus Navas and club manager García Pimienta must have been delighted with the contribution of the dazzling winger.
Speaking to Sevilla's YouTube channel after the clash, Ejuke his delight to get off the mark for the Rojiblancos, particularly in front of the fans at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium
“It's amazing you know. To score at home in front of the fans you know. To also get a win, it is a amazing feeling. I am really happy, I am really buzzing right now,” Ejuke said.
"I feel great, I feel happy. You know it is an important game, important victory for the team. We are happy, we keep going like this.
"We are just going to take it step by step, game by game like you said it is very important win for us you know.
"We need this win, you know we need this confidence to go into the next games because yeah I mean you know when we stay together, fight together, definitely we are going to keep getting results like this and we are looking forward you know to the next games.

The left winger's strike was also his first goal involvement for Sevilla and he has now made six appearances for the club, featuring in all but one game since the start of the campaign.
