The Super Eagles arrived in Kigali on Sunday, September 8 ahead of their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.
The Nigeria squad touched down in the Rwandan capital on a ValueJet flight, as captured in a video shared on X by the Super Eagles media team.
The team is set to face the Rwandan side, known as the Amavubi, in their second Group D match at Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday, September 10, with kickoff scheduled for 2 pm local time.
Nigeria will enter the match with momentum after a commanding 3-0 victory over Benin in their Group D opener after a series of poor results.
Before the game, Nigeria had not won any of their previous three matches, with two losses and one draw.
The win, highlighted by a brace from Ademola Lookman and a goal from Victor Osimhen, places Nigeria at the top of the group with three points.
The opening game between Rwanda and Libya ended in a draw, leaving the Eagles in a favorable position.
With interim manager Austin Eguavoen at the helm, Nigeria is aiming to build on their strong start and secure another win to solidify their lead in the group.
