Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that French Ligue 1 giants Marseille are among the European clubs keeping tabs on promising Hope of Glory FC striker Emmanuel Charles Oduok with a view to a transfer.
Oduok has been identified as a star of the future and would have traveled to Europe to undergo trials if not for visa hitches
Born January 1, 2005, he has been on the books of Hope of Glory FC Academy since the age of ten.
Weighing 68kg with a height of 1.75m, he is a traditional Nigerian centre forward as he's also adept at playing as a support striker and on both flanks.
The Eket-born teenager describes himself as a creative striker with a blend of technical brilliance, tactical awareness and insatiable hunger for goals.
The versatile forward, whose preferred foot is right, is a relentless force on the pitch whose prowess and finesse make him a quintessential player.
Marseille have contacted a Nigerian agent to discuss the possibility of a transfer but face competition from Belgian clubs who are also keen on him.
Marseille's Ligue 1 rivals, Lille have already agreed a deal to sign another talented Nigerian teenager Adeshina Ibrahim Ayodele from Beyond Limits Academy.
